Thank you so much to everyone to pledged their support for the Twisted Upright House on Kickstarter. We are now fully funded, and have a bit less than a week to go. I want to personally thank all of you for helping get this project built and out to Black Rock City for Burning Man 2012. We are very excited to be a part of the Circle of Regional Effigies. This historic simultaneous ignition of 35 large scale burn structures on Thursday of the event promises to be even more spectacular than the record setting 23 from last year. We are extremely honored to be a part of making fire arts history with you!
We still have a few stained glass panels left that are yet to be claimed, so if you want one you can still pledge at the high donor level and get a lovely one foot by two foot original, hand made stained glass window with images of coastal fantasy. This is glass art that will last long after the embers have ceased to glow, we have left no trace and gone home. Arcata area artist David Long has donated his artwork to support our cause, and we would love to see all of them go home with one of you.
We really appreciate all of your support. We’re very excited to get started with building the structure. You have made it possible for us to start sourcing materials and soon we will be building – watch this space for pictures and stories from all of the fine folks working to make the Twisted Upright House a reality.
