I am doing a performance on Sunday afternoon, June 10th, 2012 at the Sitting Room in Penngrove with my former French prof at SSU.  Christine has come up with a really cool way of approaching literature, movement and spoken word in her new project Letters Interactive.  We will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Sitting Room, and you are all invited.  The gathering is from 2pm to 5pm, with our performance at 3pm.

Exploring personal correspondence from letters written by George Sand, George Eliot, Virginia Woolf and Zora Neale Hurston in an embodied reading has been challenging and fun.  We have been developing material through improvisation and workshopping this original new script for several months, and are all very excited for our first performance.

Letters Interactive was created by Christine Renaudin with Jenna Riggan, Noelle Rodriguez, Tricia Siegel, Kelly Walton and Graham Lawler with live music by Nick Alva.
